WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY PAGE!

Wichita, Kansas - 1926

Our first ancestors who came to America from England in 1632. They were the Gaskills and they settled in Salem, Massachusetts. The Gaskills were Quakers and were involved in trying to save John and Mary Proctor from hanging during the Salem Witch Trials. You'll find more about our Gaskills and Southwicks on other pages. My mother, Gertrude Gaskill is the pretty lady on the left in the picture. You can see the Gaskill family tree here. The Gaskills

Rachel Luther was my great grandmother. Captain John Luther came to America in 1630, with the Hudson Bay Company and was one of the founders of Swansea, Massachusetts. My father, Waymen Beckner, is the man next to my mother in the picture. He is a descendent of John Luther. The Luther family tree is here
